Location: Remote, South Africa. Full-time. 90-day contract to start, renewable. Paid in USD.
Zarla builds a small business a complete website from a one-sentence description, then helps it get found on Google and recommended by ChatGPT. We're a small, founder-led team with paying customers in the US, Australia and beyond, and creators are a big part of how we plan to reach the next million small-business owners.
The job
You find and sign creators whose audiences are US small-business owners: plumbers, salons, coaches, local services, small shops. You run the calls, the negotiation, the rights, the brief and the follow-through, and you own the creator pipeline end to end, reporting weekly on what it produced.
You'll be great at this if you:
- Have 2+ years running creator deals for a brand or agency and can show the terms you negotiated.
- Have your own sourcing toolkit and tricks, and can demonstrate them live.
- Negotiate licence and usage rights as fluently as price (partnership ads, usage windows, exclusivity).
- Can hold 4 hours a day of US East or West Coast overlap for calls (South African afternoons and evenings).
- Speak fluent, confident English on video calls and live in a spreadsheet.
Nice to have: software or B2B creators, TikTok Shop or affiliate programs, managing a creator budget.
How it works
Remote. Full-time, 90-day contract to start, renewable. Flat monthly fee in USD (tell us your expected rate). Hiring is by a paid work sample, not interviews: find 10 creators and show us how, draft the outreach, propose the deal, then a 20-minute mock negotiation.
